Back in action after a long time..

Hi there, this is Arpita, writing in my dad's blog. Have not been in touch for a long time. My dad told me he was too busy to write for me...and I believed him..any way, some times it's nice that there is a long gap. I have so many stories to tell you, starting with my own very first birthday..!!!

You know frankly, i liked this concept. You guys celebrating birthdays, out here on this planet. I think its good to remember these special occasions. I could make out some thing was on, i went to see a couple of places with my parents..looked like hotels..i wanted to tell them...take it easy guys..its no big deal.. I am not really a party kind of a person...I was quite Ok with a quiet dinner with my parents and grand parents..but I kept quiet looking at my dad and mom..more than me, it was a big occassion for them. I could not help getting excited..seeing their excitement. My mom planned for this more than her own wedding, I must say. We booked the hall at Chinnaswamy Stadium, my parents finalised the menu etc..i did not know a thing about what will happen on the D day, until I actually experienced it. It was fantabulous...! I was awestruck by the decoration in the hall. The cake from Le Meridian was fabulous. The food, I am told, was great too ( I had my bottle of Nan, you know..). I really felt happy to see all my cousins, uncles and aunts. I was really happy to see the excitement around.

Guess what I liked the most...It was really all the love that I got that day. I actually have lovely people around me in this world..I was happy to see the personalised gifts which my parents made for each kid who attended. I thought that was how they wanted to make it special for each kid. Truely a memorable day.

Well, that was on Feb 28th, because my birth star was on this day, even though my date of birth is on 10th March. Here..I am sharing some of the moments..

You must be wondering what I have been doing since then. Actually, lots of things. I got 8 teeth, I got my head shaved (grown back now..) , learned to speak a lot of words. Guess what I can already understand Konkini and Malayalam....truely intelligent right..? I have also got used to the so called 'life' that you people go through every day. I mean, I know that I have to get up at 7 AM, take a bath, have breakfast, say bye to my parents and feel a little sad, play with my Achachan, bug Achamma, have lunch, sleep and wait for my parents to return, before I go to bed and the cycle repeats.

But life has been good folks..I wonder how many of you have the luxuary of time like me...may be I have it only now, before I also become a part of the cycle. I truely enjoy each moment. I watch ants..I see how they also are busy the whole day, I watch my favourite Kakka...they keep saying Hi every now and then, I have friends in all the dogs around (Aaayeee...as I call them)..I enjoy the bright sunshine and the breeze, I love playing in water, I enjoy seeing Achamma's smile when I do Suu zu. Life is good in this world.

Next week is going to be even more exciting. I have Ananya Chechi and Aniket here. I have some plans. I will tell you more...
